EU – Proposal to revise Framework Decision on child pornography: “(RAPID)
The European Commission has adopted a Proposal for a new Council Framework Decision on combating sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography, aimed at stepping up prosecution of criminal, protection of child victims and prevention of offences. New forms of sexual abuse and exploitation facilitated by the use of the Internet would be criminalised, such as grooming or viewing child pornography without downloading the files.
