Bush Signs Spy Bill, ACLU Sues: “Marking a significant win over the Democrats, President Bush signed a bill into law Thursday that blesses his formerly secret, warrantless wiretapping powers and frees telecoms from privacy suits accusing them of illegally helping. But the ACLU has already filed suit, saying the new powers violate the Constitution.
