Court of Appeal got prisoner privacy wrong, rules ECHR: “Prisoners have the same right to privacy in medical correspondence as they do in relation to communication with their MPs, the European Court of Human Rights has said. The Court has overturned a ruling of the UK’s Court of Appeal.”

Privacy regulator publishes revised privacy-protection handbook: “Privacy regulator the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has told companies that they should follow similar rules to Government departments to make sure that privacy protection forms part of new computer systems right from the start.”
